Tea tree is an aromatic herb primarily found in warmer regions of Australia. The leaves are evergreen, alternately arranged, dark green to grey-green in colour and elliptic to lance-like in shape. Tea tree essential oil is obtained from the leaves and twigs. It has tremendous therapeutic properties which that makes it applicable on certain skin conditions like wounds, sunburns and stings.
