Bisibelebath is a traditional recipe from Mysore. It translates to ‘hot lentil rice’ in Kannada. “forgotten foods” Bisibelebath is made using Kodo millets instead of rice. It is believed that long before the advent of green revolution, millets were used in most dishes where rice is used at present. You will get an authentic taste of South Indian style Bisibelebath in our gluten free product. All ingredients are premixed. You just have to add water and heat for 7-8 minutes to savour the dish. This pack of 400 grams dried powder can serve 5 people.

Ingredients

Kodo millet (56.3%), Split Pigeon pea (17.3%), Iodized Salt (4.8%), Dehydrated Carrot, Spices, Edible Vegetable Fat – interesterified (Made from Coconut oil, Sesame oil, Vitamin A), Red Chilly, Dehydrated Potato flakes, Dehydrated Tomato powder, Cashew nuts, Dehydrated Onion, Curry leaves, Jaggery, Coriander leaves, Turmeric and Dry Tamarind powder.

Usage Instructions

Step 1) Add 1 measure MIX to 3 measures boiling water. Step 2) Stir constantly for 7-8 minutes on low to medium flame. Step 3) Mix well. Serve hot. *Optionally serve with ghee. *Measure means a cup or container of your choice
